Our Story

Our Story began when a young couple met - a custom officer and a Domestic Science teacher in a convent. The custom officer of muslim faith was madly in love with the teacher that he converted to christainity because she would not marry someone of muslim faith.

After their wedding, they moved to Great Britain to further their education. She studied fashion design, interior decoration and English Language and he studied and passed his law exams at the London School of Economics and Political Science and at Middle Temple Inns of Courts , London England. 

He established a law firm and she a Fashion Design School when they returned to their homeland. They worked hard, became successful and helped many financially. She found jobs for the jobless and shelter and food for the homeless. 

These two humanitarians are my parents, Hon. Chief Justice J.O Kassim and Mrs. J A Atiba Kassim. Their legacy I carried on when Family Care Staffing Inc. was established in 1991 during the Gulf war as part of the community of care programs. Many were knocking on doors looking for jobs during this great recession. We found jobs for many, neither the employees nor the employers were charged fees for our services.
